Chantry Johnson
Chantry Johnson is a 28 year-old producer, multi-instrumentalist, singer, and songwriter. Born and raised in Modesto, California, he picked up his first guitar in 7th grade. He spent his youth performing in various local bands, worship teams, and stage shows. In the summer of 2011, Chantry moved to Los Angeles to pursue an education at Musician’s Institute. His studies were put on hold when he joined alternative rock band The Cab, recording music and touring the world with acts like Parachute and Maroon 5.
In 2014, Chantry completed his education at Musician’s Institute with a degree in guitar performance. He formed a band called The Johnsons with his two brothers and garnered millions of views on YouTube. The constant cycle of creating and releasing music was the experience he needed to refine his skills as a producer and songwriter.
In 2017, Chantry began working with multi-platinum record producer Mitch Allan. His work with Mitch has earned him credits with artists like Rachel Platten, Chord Overstreet, Maddie Poppe, and Demi Lovato. Today, Chantry continues to write and produce on a daily basis with a focus on pop, electronic, and hip hop music.
