Michelle Zarlenga is an Emmy-nominated songwriter, singer, and vocal producer from Los Angeles, California. Growing up, Michelle was drawn to songwriting by a need for self-expression. She says “Sometimes making art is the only way to understand a situation. The necessity for honesty and expression is what keeps me drawn to songwriting today, whether it’s a pop song serving as a singular snapshot of an inner life, or within a musical telling many different interwoven stories”. Her musical versatility has landed her songwriting cuts with Bryson Tiller and Idina Menzel, as well as extensive credits in film and television. Her work has been performed by artists like Olivia Rodrigo, Meg Donnelly, and Taye Diggs for projects like High School Musical: The Musical: The Series, Ariel, and Disney’s ZOMBIES franchise. She has worked as a vocalist as well as a songwriter for Disney theme parks, Hulu, the Hallmark Channel, Disney Plus, and more.
