Two time Grammy-Award winning songwriter, vocal producer and singer, Dewain Whitmore has amassed a diverse catalog highlighted by dozens of hits across all genres. Throughout his career, Dewain has co-written hit singles like “Die For You” by Joji, “Ocean” by Martin Garrix featuring Khalid, “Both” by Tiesto, 21 Savage and Bia. “When I Grow Up” (Young Wild & Free) by Flo Rida featuring Alan Walker and “On My Love” by Zara Larrson featuring David Guetta. Born and raised in Kansas City, Missouri, Dewain was exposed to many styles of music at an early age. Growing up on a very special blend of musical influences stretching from Smokey Robinson, Stevie Wonder, Billy Joel and James Taylor, his inspiration is one big nostalgic melting pot. His talents led him to Los Angeles where he has collaborated with a wide array of artists including Mary J. Blige, Jason Derulo, Kacey Musgraves, Nick Jonas, Usher, Ciara and Backstreet Boys. In addition, Dewain has cultivated a long-term collaborative relationship with Chris Brown resulting in over 15 placements on his albums.
